    1v1 and 2v2 games.

I am fed up with playing big games. I like them even less after the latest add-on. I would like to log in and play some good 1v1 or 2v2 games with friendly guys. Are there any groups who like such games? Let me know, pls.

What do you mean by 'groups'?
If you're hosting, you'll attract players more easily with certain maps and modes.
I usually do 1v1 Reloading point or 2v2 Bocage.

Well I find it's difficult to get a lot of 2v2 games after a certain point of time. Most people like Big games so they can invite others to their Arty Party on Farmland or Village. But yes, I am a 2v2 enthusiast.

You could try big maps with other settings. So there won't be an "Arty Party". - I don't mean "no artillery", just choose other MP options -
But it's correct that small battles have a completely different charakter in standard games.

The person wants sparring partners to play with and against instead of being forced to pussyfoot around lamers looking for stomps.

While i never play 1v1 in this game, i find it easy enough to play 2v2 games and usually those are the best ones.

I never liked 1v1s too. I think it was due to lack of good maps. The standard 1x1 maps are no so good: too small and too short. It just leads to terrible spam games. But I must say I really like the new community 1v1 maps. It looks like triumph has got a good understanding of a good map for 1v1 games. I hope more players will start enjoying 1v1 games as they are pretty fun, esp. when you can have somebody to watch you and later discuss your tactics.

I just play some random 1v1s or 2v2s and I was wondering if there are some steam groups for players who, like me, are interested in 1v1s or 2v2s and feel that bigger games ussually tend to be less competitive and balanced.

download the mappack R4 and come play with us. plenty of good new maps, including 1v1s and 2v2s. we played some today and I think I never had so much fun playing 1v1 earlier. ofc we do also 4v4s and more when were enough for it.

Argentan 1v1 DLC map is easily the best 1v1 map out there. It's even got observer slots....So awesome.

Lately I'm having trouble finding big games to record. But I prefer things that are 4v4 or less. Although if everyone is a great player then 5v5-6v6-8v8 would just be amazing to look at. Also lacks some nice maps though I feel.

I watched CoH 1v1s and AS 1v1s and I think AS games have a potential to be more interesting. The one below, for example, surprised me.

Having said that it is still not easy to find a AS 1v1 game. Maybe a steam group would help? You log in to steam and look for players in your group who are in game or who are looking to play.
