Not sure if I like the poll questions. Seems to be a common occurence nowadays, where people cannot make clear, unbiased polls.
For example, for excellent value units, you cannot use them for everything.
Even for units you consider above average value, you will not be able to buy them almost every battle.
Should have left it at how you would rate it.Infantry guide: http://digitalmindsoft.eu/forums/sho...-your-Infantry

Yeah and the at-gun can spawn already attached, however i think a medium at gun wouldn't be exaggerated .. i would see this unit as valuabe rescue package (lol) it would be a light counter against soft targets thanks to halftrack and subelite inf and will have limited usage against armor.. great choice for middlegame. It would make the game more forgivable and add a good choice out of a useless hero unit and then we have 5 more hero units, together with the recent patch it would make a couple of great tactical choices for every nation...

I only really use it as an emergency unit that is needed in a hurry. But despite not being very effective against vehicles I find I still use it no less often than the more expensive hero units and no more often than the cheaper hero units. It does feel like a 2.5 HP unit but it is a very situational unit. It's a solid choice for certain situations.

In most cases you could just as well buy the 2 HP infantry and a half-track. A light/medium AT gun would give them a little more punch against light vehicles bulldozing through your lines.

What if you wanted the 2HP infantry and a halftrack, but you wish to spend the Hero Points in order to save up the MP points, or that you didn't have the MP pts available to buy? Afterall those are the main reasons to buy the 2HP Infantry (other than the Brandenburgers who are different).
In that respect, the 2HP and 3HP uses up roughly the same amount of pts/HP, since the 2HP Infantry and 3HP Infantry are essentially 3 star infantry, only one is in a halftrack.
I do think that the 3HP infantry could do with some weaponry, though I think that a towed AT gun, especially a medium AT gun is too much; an AT rifle or bazooka equivalent would be better.Infantry guide: http://digitalmindsoft.eu/forums/sho...-your-Infantry

A towed light AT gun would fit "the last resort" policy, this choice usually/more often, than not, serves, without making this call-in underpriced, I think.
In case this is to be considered, I strongly advocate extended amount of HE rounds for such AT gun (exceeding the usual amount of 5 rounds by additional 10-15 more).

To get a 101st Airborne you could use heroic MP or regular MP.
Using the regular MP to get a M3A1 halftrack and a Airborne squad will be cheaper than the equivalent HMP. However that would be same for most of the early hero units, while the later stuff like the Mass Production got great value!
Some units compensate this bad value by other things like unique abilities, higher skill or low CP.
This does not really do that.

Right now their value is (125+250) 375. They at least need to be (160x3 to 180x3) 480-540. 12 dudes and a light pak would do this. But so would upgrading their weapons. For example ruskie and german troops have horrible rifles. US and Brits have so/so lmg on their dudes. A SVT or G43 rape squad or double 30cal on air borne would make things very interesting and that's not even counting AT weapons.

I have never bought any mechanized hero infantry. The light AT-gun would also increase the overall CP for the unit and I am not sure if this is good for an infantry unit.
