You can register your GOTY game so that its synced with stream for achievements and updates using gamespy cd key from the game, just go to games>activate product on steam.

use your gamespy cd key (the one that u use for joining the multiplayer) not the activation cd key

AFAIK Amazon version does not come with the Securom DRM of the disk version, so there is no activation key.
And while the GOTY edition(both disk and digital download) _should_ activate on Steam, like non GOTY editions do just fine, that feature does not seem to work right now.

i ended up buying the game through steam, it was 75% off so is not a big deal....got the same GOTY edition for 10 bucks (a real bang for the buck). now i really need to learn how to play AS cause is way different than MOW as far as Multiplayer concern.

Thanks for the answer guys.....looking forward to play some games tonight.

Francisco I suggest watching inuki videos and live streams if you want to learn some vs tips basics and strategies, he usually streams some mowas games daily at http://www.twitch.tv/inu_ki# and you can also watch some previous streams there.

Does anybody know how I get rid of those annoying adverts after I close down a game on Steam?
