    Thoughts on the Sherman Tulip?

I've been testing it out in a few games and it's definitely no Calliope but it has a different use. It only fires a 2 meagre rockets but they are anti tank rockets which also have a notice incendiary effect much like the Katusha. It appears to be more of a spefic anti armour type of weapon then the other rocket artillery in the game.

Well real life tulip rockets were based if not same as some of the rockets carried by planes for specifically anti armor purposes

It might track or damage the turret of a tank, I've yet to see it destroy one. Altough it is probably just as good as the new cromwell or the 105s in that role if it hits.
I will use it the same way as the arc-fireing tanks. The extra 1 MP might be worth the extra range.

I can see it's role as pretty nice counter for those brand new nasty nazi and commie AT guns.

In testing it appears the new Cromwell isn't as accurate as the Stuh42 and the Tulip does have a quite a longer reload then the Cromwell.

On the other hand 95 mm Cromwell has turret which makes it dangerous even after being tracked.

In my opinion the Commonwealth took it in the shorts this patch. The Blackwatch are a less effective version of the Anzacs. All they get are a neat new MG and some new SMGs (Not new, they were on the royal engineers, but they're not very effective). How about adding a bazooka or something? Or add a piat or something to the Anzacs to justify buying them? Every other nation's units have definite advantages and roles.

I'm happy with the cromwell. I think it's the only decent unit the CW gets. I wasn't terribly impressed with the tulip.

Why should a 1 ptr be more valuable than a 2 ptr? The Black Watch is solid unit filling gaps throughout the entire game, especially since Commonwealth players focus on Assault Infantry instead of Regulars.

The point I was trying to make was why have the two units who are similar? And as I suggested why not answer everyone's prayers and add an AT weapon to the Anzacs or something to differentiate them from the Blackwatch?

The ANZAC are better... they have more of everything and better skill levels. They are simply better infantry... especially from an assaulting perspective.

ANZAC have 10 men, more stars and more nades.
Blackwatch have a better ranged firepower, but less men and less equipment, but plenty of sandbags.

As a 1 ptr they offer defensive, ranged infantry support throughout the entire game... seems like a pretty solid 1 ptr to me.
