Personally I'm not using any of this - prefer to use T-34-85 as it's faster.
But all in all, I see KV-85 usually, and since last patch I haven't see any IS-1.>>> MoW-Center.pl <<< Polskie Community Men of War

I wonder for what such fancy really rare units, such as BM-8 (722 exemplairs produced) and KV-85 (about 500, or so, IMMDFM, produced; correction here: WWW says only 148 examplairs were produced...) are being pushed into popularization, and to disadvantage and disdain of by far more common units as well?

Personally I have changed opinion about units - let DMS add and do what they want to do with units - of course if they will be adding new stuff. Rest is for modders. It's better if they will create even some rare stuff but they will do that, and modders will have toys to play with in mods.
But that's true, such units are strange. Maybe competitive mode should be changed into realistic mode - that will add some fresh point of view to game.>>> MoW-Center.pl <<< Polskie Community Men of War

Didn't DMS say that it was their vision to reduce the number of vehicles to a more numerically historical amount?
Anyhow, at what price do you all view as fair for the KV-85?Infantry guide: http://digitalmindsoft.eu/forums/sho...-your-Infantry

Seems fair to me.

Yeah? However, the unit is pointless. With old armour it was a slow T34/85. Now it's a more economical and surprisingly harder to kill IS1. No matter how you slice it, it replaces another unit that is far more suited for the soviet armoury.
As much as I love all sorts of obscure/rare units on the field, it seems to me that all the KV85 does is either sits unused or removes other units from gameplay.
I'm sure my opinion isn't exactly popular, but it is what it is.

KV-85 should be as expensive as IS-1, removed from competitive mode, and maybe even limited to one per game or with timer set that if you buy I don't know KV-1, T-34-85 or something heavier you will have to wait for example 10 minutes to buy it.
As Mylen said - as it's always nice to have more units to suit players taste, gamestyle or something, it's important to make it right.
We are getting in patches adjustment to increase medium tanks fight - what is very important and I really like such idea. Now KV-85 with it's price or even slightly increased price is still more useful then T-34-85. Beautiful model, nice tank and popular in history. But KV-85 is a heavy tank. So it supports heavy tank spam.
In my opinion it would be better as a replacer of 2 T-34-85 in hero tree. It has twice as armor as T-34, and same gun. You can still buy BS-3 - maybe such KV-85 could cost 5 HP not 6 - so everything is fine.>>> MoW-Center.pl <<< Polskie Community Men of War

Well, maybe, no, not maybe, but certanly unpopular opinion, judging by the games played
, yet quite reasonable, but I can hardly imagine one medium-heavy tank to be game-braking , this time to be read literally.
Besides, a pricing is a powerful tool, that needs to be used to diverse players' attention from it to other, more proper, in my opinion, units, and to make this particular one situational to the extreme.
But overall, unless removed completely, it will still be in the game, so maybe you're more right, than not.
..And don't touch my battlegroup
