    Normandy - 01 Abbey Ardenne,German Skirmish mission by Lemi

    Hello,

    I am planing to realese mod Normandy theatre about 12 ZZ panzer division from 7.june Abbey Ardenne to 21.august Falaise pocket.My plane is about 10 Skimish missions for this story.

    The first map Abbey Ardenne (1000x1000) is ready and I played on easy and hard with no problems.The Map is real,roads,terrain,fences,hedges(even the hight of hedges),the sites and locations of houses are original as it is today,everything from google earth.I used 201 google pictures and drove along the roads(google earth) many many time, to make the map..The map contains part of Abbey Ardenne,part of town Cussy,hole ferme de Calvaire,part of town Authie and hole Franqueville.

    The story is :
    Abbey Ardenne / early morning June 7, 1944 25th ZZ Panzer Grenadier Regiment under ZZ-Standartenführer Kurt Meyer (Panzermeyer), the 2nd Battalion of the 12th ZZ Panzer Regiment (Prinz), And the 3rd Battalion of the 12th ZZ Panzerartillerie Regiment (Bartling). Meyer took up his command post in the Abbey Ardenne which was situated north-west of Caen.
    The forward elements of the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division were pressing south down the main road from Villons-Les-Buissons to Carpiquet where they planned to capture the airfield there. As the Canadian Armor And infantry passed through Authie towards Franqueville, they were stunned by a violent counter-attack by the 12th ZZ Panzer Division. Sweeping through Authie And Buron, the III Battalion of the 25th Regiment And the 5th And 6th Panzer Kompanies annihilated C Company of the North Nova Scotia Highlanders And badly mauled the rest of the battalion. The 12th ZZ also managed to destroy 28 Canadian tanks And numerous other vehicles before pulling back to the northern fringe of Authie.

    I want to thank Zeke Wolff and ngvede for their permission to use their vehicles for Normandy campaign,which support me to finish the Abbey Ardenne map.
    Also thanks to Mopar for testing Abbey Ardenne mission and good comments.

    1.Final look of the map.
    2.Add enemy surprise.
    3.Add player surprise.
    4.Player artillery does not miss.
    5.Add minimap.jpg
    6.Add enemy invisibility ONLY on minimap.
    ( For those who do not want to play with enemy invisibility simply delete folder in Abbey Ardenne/ resource/interface/scene/minimap folder.
    7. Fix problem-sniper team and AT team, after load the game they stay on the map.
    8. I remove binocular only from scout inventory,officer have binocular. (sniper team)
    9. Sniper team on "Hold Position", force who seat on PzIV of 6 company (show on right side of the Abbey Ardenne) and Tiger of
    Schwere ZZ-Panzer-Abteilung 101 also have "Hold Position".
    10.When you start the game you control all germans on the map and german reinforcements can be controlled as they come onto the map.
    11.Wespe inventory with 32 shells (no more 52)

    My apologies for permanent changes.

    Installation:
    - Extract the Abbey Ardenne mod with winrar to :
    - DVD version: C:\Program Files\1C Company\Men of War. Assault Squad\mods
    - Steam Version: C:\Program Files\Steam2\SteamApps\common\men of war assault squad\mods
    Start the game and in options/mod/ put the mod in right window and press apply.
    Go back and in Skirmish/select mission/ mod appears on the end.

    Looking forward to seeing some fine work from another modder.....
    The MOWAS mod community is expanding and its good to see someone else making content....

    Sd.Kfz 251/9 "Stummel". It is available in GSM but as Lemis refers to Zeke and Ngvede i guess it was made by them for their DCG.

    It was made to be used with the Faces of War version of Dynamic Campaign Generator, and is basically the old Sd.Kfz. 251 Ausf. "We got everything wrong" with a new 3D gun made by me in Milkshape 3D.

    It isn´t used in any version MoW/MoW:AS version of DCG. We will be making a new version from scratch instead when we´re done with the Italian addon.

    Thanks Mopar,I will do my best.
    In my first post I put missing Sd.kfz skins which I use in the mod and company officers Leutnant and Oberleutnant in two variants.The mod was made with 1.97.7 patch.

    A piece of advice:

    -Read mission objectives,
    -DO NOT lose your jagdpanther till you get tiger,because no mater which variaty (easy or hard) you play.
