Mod Discussion
I swear at one point there was a sub forum for mod discussion, I seem to not beable to find it here so il make this post here

I have finally created my own mod, got all the resource and localization files I need, created the info file. One problem... when I go into the mow game and go to options, my created mod is not appearing. The game is updated, and I think I have followed the right route of creating a mod, keeping everything in the same directory etc. If i copy the mod to my core game it works but then it over rides the normal files and require a fresh restart to get them back or download lol. How do I get the mod to work?
Btw I had created the mod by over righting my files, the mod works 100% I am sure, but when I fresh installed and updated, as it is not over riding the files eg saved over I cannot use the mod. Any suggestions?? thanks

Hello!
Have you installed your mod in the game?
I mean, after you put your mod in the "mods" folder:
open the game, go to the options, then click "mods".
In the left panel, you should see your mod (if your mod script is correct. If you don't see it here, you've made a mistake in your script)
Then click on the arrow to send it to the right panel
and then you have to activate it with the "apply" button.
Close the options and go in game (single or multiplayer, depend of your mod), and it should be ok.
I hope it will help you.
Regards.

The name in the mod.info should always be the same as the name of the mod itself. If it is, then your probably using a .txt file rather than an .info file. You could download those anywhere, or get an example from another mod. Or you could rename it, like "mod.txt" to "mod.info"
