    I get bored of the uvw mapping process aswell, although you just have to walk through it, there are new tools coming out with 3ds max that you can now paint the uvw map onto the model while texturing it.

    Yes, You're right I'm using 3dsMax built-in one. Thanks the advice I'll try them.

    Which version of 3ds Max has this kind of tool? I use 9.

    Its not 3ds max, but its called Autodesk Mudbox, although you need the same version of it for 3ds max to work with it, only Mudbox 2012 has this new feature so you'll need 3ds max 2012.

    Mudbox 2012 New Features 0.31 seconds into the video you'll find it.
