4vs4 map - Bog

My first PvP multiplayer-map, decide to do something completely different than a bocage-map, which seem to be quite dominant in AS and I did the map as a side project from my other maps with DJSatane. Been toying with the idea of a swamp-map for weeks and finally came around to creating it. Also decided to make it autumn-themed to make it even more niche.

The map uses the 4vs4 Village AZ-layout as a base for Assault zones, also works on Combat. The terrain is very uneven and you have plenty of cover for infantry and tank-alike. Teams attack from north and south side of the swamp and meet at the central road. The road is slightly elevated so tanks cant snipe over it as easily and it also causes it to be dangerous for being more open. Map doesnt have a sinking-feature, because that would mess up the balance most likely and frustrate people. So you dont have to worry where you step. Another thing you should take into account when playing is the infantry vulnerability and slowness in water, which brings a new tactical aspect to the battle.

Place the 4v4 Bog-folder in your Mods-Folder
- DvD version: C:\Program Files\1C Company\Men of War Assault Squad\mods
- Steam Version: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\men of war assault squad\mods

activate it in-game from options and mods-page.

I played on your map a bit and I must say I am not sure about the background sounds: it is like every 30 seconds I can hear the same plane crash. Combat Mission game has very good battle soundtrack.

Sure, ill remove it. It actually started to irritate me too, lol

Might release a better version soon with additional tweaks. =)
