Men of War - Assault Squad: Add-on news 6
Here we are with another update and hopefully one you like as much as the others.
Since the furniture is ready to go and all the tables are set up. It's time to get new office chairs to finally make use of the new equipment:

As we have mentioned many times before, Men of War: Assault Squad will receive a free multiplayer Add-on containing of 15 new special units for you to choose from.
The next special unit being introduced is the Cromwell MK. VI!

The Cromwell MK. VI combines mobility of a medium tank with the firepower of a 95mm howitzer gun. A hard to hit target with the capability of destroying any fortified axis position. Thanks to projectiles which are flying in a slight arc, the Cromwell is extremely good at taking out anti-tank gun positions, even from covered positions. It's highly effective and low in costs, therefore the perfect tool for the Commonwealth to fight back even harder as ever before!
Check out the previous news!
More news soon!

Is there any chance that we can see the far better uniform textures from "Condemned Heroes" in the near feature? This would be awesome. Its a shame that 1c don't work together with you, there's nothing improved in "Condemned Heroes", all textures of the weapons and vehicles are old...
Nice work on the Cromwell! How many polygons has that thing?

The new equipment you present is really great, textures are perfect, but I agree about soldiers textures: they are needed in Assault Squad. BTW. I'm a bit disapointed about graphics and AI in Condemned Heroes. I hope You will go your own path, and won't follow 1C's mistakes.

Tell us about a bit about your dev team in the your next Addon-news! Why never tell anything about them in your updates, why so secretive
? Don't want any names or faces, just numbers and info about the organization! I'm sure quite a lot of people would like to hear some details
.
I lost my manhood years ago. I don't really know what keeps me going anymore.

To be honest, more than new units or character models or anything else, the most direly necessary improvement needed for Assault Squad and ALL future Men of War games is the ditching of Gamespy.
I simply can't play your game online. Simple as that. I payed money to download it, even bought a couple of the map packs, but it's all for naught because the Gamespy NAT issue prevents me from joining literally 90%+ of servers. New models and such are always welcomed, but might I suggest first working to make this game actually playable for the sizable minority of us who can't even enjoy it currently?
I understand implementing a whole new network for multiplayer is a significant undertaking but it's definitely, without a doubt far more worthwhile than anything else you could currently add to the game at the moment, by a long shot. Me and quite a few of my friends who are also MoW junkies currently can't play your game, and we're pretty disappointed.
