Men of War - Assault Squad: Add-on news 5
Step by step the Add-on as well as our office progresses and we are closer to completion than ever before.
After all the first batch of our new furniture arrived and those guys were heavy at work to build all this up (and much more you can't see) in just half a day. We are pleased, you?

As we have mentioned many times before, Men of War: Assault Squad will receive a free multiplayer Add-on containing of 15 new special units for you to choose from.
The next special unit being introduced is the Type 97 150mm heavy mortar!

This massive mortar with a 150mm caliber (compared to the 90mm of the other mortars in-game) delivers an impressive fire power and is a superior support weapon. While it's very slow to relocate its range is extended and the damage it causes are worth neglecting its disadvantages. The Imperial Japanese Army will push you back!
Check out the previous news!
More news soon and Happy Easter!

Nice mortar and anything... but how about heavy mortars for all countries? Germans and Soviets had plenty of 120-mm mortars for example.
P.S.: This must be a mistake: compared to the 90mm of the other mortars in-game. Must be 80-mm, not 90-mm.Last edited by Mihsan; 08-04-2012 at 18:28.

Super happy about the new mortar!

Mihsan has it right, we need 120mm mortars!
They were used extensively during the Second World War.
Also any inclusion of a smaller, 50mm mortar would be a dream lol

thx to DMS and Instinct about the great news about MoW Add-On.
every new free model makes the MoW comunity (me too) verry happy.
...but i hope, we see a new series from MoW:AS again next few months (year). currently im verry sad, because actual state from MoW:AS isnt playable without massive lags on my pc (high-end-pc).
so i (and comunity) hope, we see a new sequel from MoW:AS, possible with newer GEM engine, without massive bugs like FPS lock, crashes, connection lost, multi-core support ...
I'll press the thumb.
Storm over Europe Mod was canceled !!!
