1. Information about tournament

The open championship on game Men of War: Assault Squad is devoted to the 67th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War and since April 21, 2012 in a mode Assault Zones is carried out. All registered teams having as a part of not less than 4 people are allowed to competitions. The maximum number of players in the demand - 8.

The scheme of competitions will be defined proceeding from quantity of the registered teams:
6 or less - circular tournament, the winner comes to light on points;
7 and more - group tournament, the winner comes to light in Play-off.

Counting of points goes by the following principle:
Victory in a match with the score 2-0 = 3 points.
Victory on points with the score 1-1 = 2 points.
Draw = 1 point.
Defeat = 0 points.

In case of equality of points at two or more teams following the results of a group (circular) stage of a place of teams are defined:

- by results of personal meetings between these teams (doesn't work in case of draw between these teams);
- by bigger quantity of the won rounds in all matches of a group (circular) stage;
- on the best difference of the points gathered within separate rounds in all matches of a group (circular) stage;
- in an additional match (matches) at absolute equality above the specified indicators.

Tournament is carried out under the aegis of the company Best Way on the prizes provided by the company 1C-Softclub.

Prizes:

Three prize-winning places. 15 keys of the game "Shtrafbat" (Men of War: Condemned Heroes) and 10 keys of MoW: AS Game of the Year Edition (distribution will be separately stipulated).


1.1. Format of the championship

Games of the championship are carried out in a format 4 on 4. If the team unable to expose full structure on game, she has the right to play, but only if on game not less than 3 people are exposed.

Games of the championship are carried out on version 2.00.11.

1.2. Definitions

AS – "Men of War: Assault Squad", game on which competitions are held.

Championship, tournament – the First open championship on game "Men of War: Assault Squad".

AZ - Assault Zones mode.

Match – each match consists of 2 rounds. In a match each team plays in turn for each of the sides on one map. The map and the nations on each match get out lot in advance. Lot is carried out by tournament Administration.
Deadline match date – the date of a match approved by Administration of the championship. Teams are obliged to play a match no later than this date.

Map – one of the maps, adapted on format games not less than 4 on 4, present at game and resolved by rules of the championship for use.
Round – playing for one of the sides on the map, proceeding until will end time or one of teams will gather 100 points.
Winner – the team which has won both rounds in a match, or, with the score 1-1, gathered totally on 20 or more points more than opponents.

Side – One of the nations in LP: USSR, Germany, USA, Great Britain, Japan. Teams play for each side on a round. Admissible pairs of nations on a match: USSR-Germany, USA-Germany, Great Britain-Japan.

Flood – messages in the intra game chat, borrowing (in many cases) large volumes and not bearing any new or useful information, or, especially, insults (in any form).

1.3. "Knockout matches"

Games belong to this category of matches a playoffs and other games in which the winner should be surely revealed.

In case each of teams wins on one round, the winner the collective which has gathered totally bigger quantity of points admits. In case a total difference in points less than 20, are played 2 rounds on the additional map with other pair of nations.

2. Format of the game and maps

Matches are played in the following format:

Line-up: 4 players in team.

Maps:
Bazerville
Lakeland
Road to Langres
Suburb 2
Village

1 map in a match is played. The map and pair of nations on each match gets out lot in advance. Lot is carried out by tournament Administration. If teams unable to agree about the parties in the first round, the decision for them is taken by the referee coin throwing.

Maximum duration of a round: 90 minutes.
Victory in a round: the round comes to an end, when one of teams gathers 100 points or expires round time.
Game settings: Standard.
Units: All.
Resource settings: Normal.
Score to win: 100.
Fog of War: Realistic.
Friendly fire: on.
Flora regeneration: off.
Show armor penetration chances: off.
Show damage messages: off.
Bandwith: Optimal.


2.1. Process of the match

Both teams should be ready to begin a match in due time. By agreement teams start of game can be postponed, but no more than on 30 minutes. Before the beginning of each round, opponents check line-ups. Participation in games of the people who are absent in the registration demand is forbidden - to violators of this rule technical defeat is awarded. However upon ending of a claim match concerning game nicknames aren't accepted.

Participation in matches of players is forbidden, computers or which speed of the Internet lead to constant delays of game or the general falling of speed of game. In each case the decision on the admission of players to which there are claims on this point, the referee of a match accepts.

The team which player hosting, has no right to initiate a game delay. Otherwise it sets off technical defeat.

Upon ending of each round screenshots of result which it is necessary to transfer to the referee become.
Screenshots of results after each round should do, at least, on one person of each team.

Teams can take a break between rounds, but no more than for 15 minutes.

In case teams won on one round and a total difference in points less than 20, the draw (except "Knockout matches" - see point 1.3) is made out.

Any actions of players during a match are resolved if they aren't forbidden by these Regulations (except for point 5.4). Ignorance of Regulations doesn't relieve from responsibility of his violators.

2.2. Referees of the tournament

Duties of referees of the championship include tracking observance of Regulations of tournament, thus referees on the game server aren't present. Their tasks include control of the correct course of a match, thus captains of playing teams are obliged to be on direct link (ICQ, Skype, TeamSpeak) with the referee serving their match. He informs captains on an order of carrying out a match. Decisions of referees during a match aren't discussed. To the team which has not obeyed to legal requirements of the referee (see point 2.4), technical defeat is awarded.

The team has the right to submit before a match inquiry about substitution of the referee to tournament Administration, having stated the request reasons.

2.3. Voice communication

Use of any voice programs is authorized (TeamSpeak, Ventrilo, Skype, Xfire, etc.).

Any problems connected with a voice communication in the course of a match aren't at the bottom for a stop (pause), a game or replay delay.

2.4. Problems with connection and substitutions

The round should be restarted in any case if disconnection of the player occurred before emergence of units of teams in visibility limits of each other (during loading or right after start) or if there was a simultaneous mass disconnection and structures thus became unequal (some people from different teams).

"Terminators", network falling, light shutdown, etc. at any player after emergence of armies of teams in visibility limits of each other a reason for an obligatory restart aren't, but each of teams in this case has a right to one restart for a match if since the beginning of a round passed less than 15 minutes. 15 minutes later after start in case of a disconnection of one player the match should be continued in any case.

If the player independently leaves the server, the match should be continued in any case. The exit of the player considered his detachment with the advent of record "The player of Player left" if it unable immediately to provide a screenshot with "terminator" or an error of GameSpy.

The team in which there was a disconnection on the first fifteen minutes of a round, has the right to refuse restart and to finish a round in unequal structures. If thus, because of a departure in opposite team, structures become equal, the round should be finished in any case.

Game should be paused only in the following cases:
- there is a long falling of productivity at one or several players of any team;
- there is disconnection of one player within the first fifteen minutes or several players at any moment of game (treats and cases of emergence of record about an exit of the player).

The necessary screenshots testifying to events specified above, should immediately (within 5 minutes) to be provided to the referee who informs captains of teams on the decisions. In other cases it is forbidden to server to put game on a pause (and equally not to put in specified), violation of this rule is punished as well as flood (see point 5.3).

The team has the right to include in the demand for tournament to 8 people any of which have the right to participate in matches. During a match between rounds and in restart cases at a disconnection replacements of players, but no more than two are allowed.

Referees, who take part in game (in case the referee and the player – the same person), have no right to judge matches of the team. For service of such match other referee should be involved.

2.5. Observers

Observers (the players wishing only to look) shouldn't be on one game.

2.6. Unfinished matches

If one of teams left the server before the match ending (i.e. a final round) – the team which has remained on the server, is considered won the remained rounds with the score 100-0.

2.7. Technical defeat

If the team of opponents didn't appear within 30 minutes after appointed time of a match – address to tournament Administration.

To the team which has won a technical victory, the victory with the score 200-0 is set off.

2.8. Registration of the match results

Responsibility for informing of the referee lies on both teams. Teams are obliged to provide immediately upon ending of a match total screenshots to the referee.

If the match isn't played, there are no screenshots, etc. and teams didn't give it the reasoned explanations, result of a match – technical defeat to teams with the score 0-0.

3. Hosts

Each team create host one round. If teams unable to agree about the one who creates the host the first, the decision for them is taken by the referee coin throwing.

3.1. Server shutdown

If GameSpy "fell" during a round and the round wasn't finished yet, the host should be restarted, and the round is restarted.

If GameSpy fell three times, the match is cancelled. Teams should address to referees and to appoint a match to other time. Results of the finished rounds at transfer of a match remain in force.

In case the player who has created the host, closes it (except the regulated cases of a restart), team in which he plays, technical defeat in a round with the score 0-100 is awarded.

Host closing if opponents have a right to restart is forbidden, but they for any reasons refused it.

4. Schedule of matches

The administration of tournament appoints deadline date of carrying out a match. If teams agreed upon carrying out a meeting before this date, but for any reasons carrying out a match is impossible, according to the mutual arrangement of teams game can be transferred, but for the term of NOT LATER deadline date of carrying out a match. If in deadline day the match didn't take place, it is necessary to address to referees. If one of teams didn't call on contact, possibility of award by it technical defeat is discussed.

Time of the beginning of matches by default - 20:00 CET (22:00 Moscow time).

5. Fair play

5.1. Transfers

The player is forbidden to consist in two and more teams. In case in the list of team there will be a player consisting or consisted in other team, penalties will be applied, up to disqualification of team. After the beginning of tournament and before its official ending, transfers are forbidden for all players. If the player is convicted of a transfer, the team which accepted the player, will be disqualified. If the transfer occurred by agreement the teams, both teams will be disqualified.

5.2. Inactive teams

If the team is inactive, it can independently leave tournament.

In case of absence of team for 2 games in a row it is excluded from the championship.

5.3. Game chat

In an intra game chat insulting, vulgar tone in messages, flood isn't allowed.

In case of the first violation of this rule to team violator the oral prevention (these cases prove to be true screenshots) is taken out. For each following similar violation to team defeat in the current/forthcoming round with the score 0-100 is set off.

5.4. Usage of bags and exploits

All known bugs/exploits will be listed here. If somebody finds a possible exploit which isn't present in the list, he should report about it championship Administrations immediately.

Any team caught on use of an exploit, will be punished by technical defeat or disqualification. If any exploit isn't present in the list, it doesn't mean that it is resolved. All questions concerning possible exploits, should be set to referees prior to the beginning of game.

5.5. Game client

Any changes made in the game client, are forbidden. The team noticed in violation of this rule, will receive technical defeat with the subsequent disciplinary punishments. It is possible to play only on the original version of the game MoW: AS with the patches established on it stipulated in item 1.1.

6. Changes in rules

The administration of the championship reserves the right to itself if necessary to change tournament Regulations till its beginning, without notifying on it participants.

7. Administration of the Championship

8. Commitments of contestants

The teams registered on tournament, automatically agree with each of points of rules. Besides, they are obliged to submit to requirements of referees and Regulations in any situation.
