Is it worth buying soldiers heroes of world war two again? Is there new skinners? new modders?

Well, you know what answer you're going to get in this forum, mate - of course it's worth buying!! I know what you mean about new skinners and modders. I'm working on some new missions now and have done some new desert skins for vehicles and soldiers. I just wish I had 3D skills so I could get into proper modding of vehicles etc. Have a look around the forum. You'll notice Dinsen, Albus, Latdonine and the BTRH team have all released mods in the last couple of months.

Clearly, a lot of us are looking forward to the western release of Men of War. However, SHOW2 maintains the interest.

By 'again', it seems you already know the game? I bought it 'again' too as the first time I thought it was terrible and difficult to control but after a bit more patience it is the only game I have kept (I usually sell games after one play (if I get that far) on Amazon or Ebay). I have since played it to death, bought Silent Heroes and got hold of as many mods as I could find (I put a separate post about them elsewhere recently). FoW was a big disappointment; I don't play it.

I only play SP and some of the mods are brilliant - more like expansion packs! I have never managed to get into a MP game on Gamespy but I am happy with SP anyway. It seems the BTRH mods are good for MP though.

On Amazon Marketplace you can pick it up for a couple of quid/bucks = no brainer.

Ok i went out and bought the game again. I have no idea why i decided not to play it, the explosions, the realism and the fishing boat have made the game great. :booyah: As soon as i familarize myself with the editor i'll try and get a mission up. :_

Personally, I think u made a good decision Terror. I have a relatively big collection of games, from Crysis to really old (but good) games that wont run on my machine anymore, but from what I have found out, SHOWWII is one of those few games that are kept alive, well well past expected, thanks only to the camaraderie of the fans and hard work of the modders.
This is the type of rare game I keep coming back for more. Those are my two cents :toast:
