Has anyone seen this error message during installation?

http://www.ne2.com/soldiers/error.jpg

I recently started getting it on Windows XP (Dell XPS 400, 2GB RAM, 7800GTX, 30GB free disk space), after trying to install a fresh copy of the game. At first I thought my original CDs were damaged, so I tried installing from an ISO and still got the same errors. I've never played Soldiers on this machine, so I tried installing on my older machine and everything worked. I also tried installing from a mounted CD drive on my older machine and got the same error.

Thanks for the help.

It's strange. Does the game work correctly on your old pc? And what is the specs of your old PC?
Another question: have you installed some game with starforce protection on your new pc? Use starforce cleaner utility for a cleaning of the system.
I'm sorry no other solution in my mind. Try this and let us know.
Good luck.

I had the same error with Commandos 2: Men Of Courage , but it was becouse of the cd-rom at that time... For some reason my optical drive (sony crx...) could't read the 2'nd cd but then I tried with another optical drive on the same machine and it worked, but you tried with image to so as an Idea... as Dilust sad, starforce cleaner utility, or try updating your imige drive and optical drive version.

Wow that's a great error message.
I can't help you with it but if that popped up on my screen I'd dive behind the nearest cover!
This one's going into my picture folder.
