Hello all,

long time I was absent but I still like these games and its community. Unfortunately I a a little confused about history and evolution of these games. Maybe some one can explain to me what happened and what is happening and what will happen to all the various games here? It's confusing me...


Game-Evolution:
SHoWW2 is a classic game. Faces of War is not that old but it seems this forum is going to forget it? I don't understand why the FoW subforum got merged with Outfront2 and Men of War together? For me it is a different game title, even if the engine inside is the same. For me it would make more sense if SHoWW2, FoW and MoW would have their own sub forums here and a special sub forum for game development should be available also.

Community-Forums:
Okay, it seems to me there is a migration of users from all other forums about SHoWW2 and FoW to the digitalmindsoftware forum. I know why, because the game development news and others. But what exactly is digitalmindsoftware? Is this forum here part of 1C Company or Bestway Developers maybe? Well, I'm just a little confused...

IRC-Channels:
Well, it seems like all known IRC Channels about these games are already abandoned like a sinking ship...


Just of interest I hope someone will give me updated news to my questions about what's going on here in the community? In future I will try to keep myself updated...

I believe this question must be answered by Instinct, but i think that DMS forums only gives support to these two games :

- Soldiers Heroes WW2
- Men of War ( new name Outfront 2)

The franchise (weastern designations):
Sohww2 > FoW > Men of War (to be released in summer of 2008)

Part, of Men of War (MoW) have already been released in eastern europe with another name (Outfront 2 :bláblá - cirilic)

The world released of MoW will include the already released part in the east, plus new content.

Digital Mind Soft are co-developers of the game (along side with Best-Way) But as far we have seen they DMS are the the only "face" of the game so this forum, although being "only" the DMS forum is in fact the place to be if you want information and give feedback on the franchise.

I thought you were working on mods for FoW, Br@tHering. At least I thought I saw some of your posts there a while back. We sure miss you in the S-HoWWII forums.
