Those of you that have both the original men of war and assault squad, which do you prefer playing DCG on? The major difference that I've really noticed is the way artillery fires differently in the two games, and I am undecided which I prefer.
What are some of the other differences that influence which you choose to play DCG with?

Personally I do prefer vanilla MoW due the artillery system in MoW:AS (and other things) but that is my personal opinion.

I'm finding that I lean towards vanilla mow as well for single player stuff, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing out or something.
I've been messing with the vietnam dcg this morning and I'm really thinking about getting the special edition. Does that add a considerable amount of maps for mow: vietnam? Or should I just bide my time and see what people manage to mod in?
The Vietnam SE adds 8 maps which helps DCG a lot since there are so few (though a couple are basically duplicates), but it's harder to make an abstract judgement about whether it is worth the money. I guess my opinion is that if you enjoy DCG for Vietnam then it's worth it, but otherwise not really.
As for the vMoW vs. AS question, I play both (when I can find time) :) AS has some nice replacement vehicle models (like Shermans, Panthers and Tigers), which I appreciate.
Hello all
I prefer the DGC in Assault squad, it feels far more fluid to me.
I still, however, prefer the single player gametypes of MoW/FoW etc etc, but for DCG its assaild squad all the way ( if it dint always bliimin fail to load the second map!)
