Cannot Connect to Friend

Yesterday, I was playing with a friend of mine who recently got into the game. We were playing some skirmish and it was working fine.

Today, it stopped working. We can connect to other peoples' games, other people can join our games...But he cannot join my game, and I cannot join his game. We can both connect to the same game as long as it's not one of us hosting.


we've never had problems with this before. What could be causing this?

NAT my friend. Simple answer. I would say do the routine work of opening all your ports and stuff, but honestly it never worked for me. One of your routers might have an NAT option, or something like that. Personally, I put my pc in the DMZ. Now, as someone is bound to point out, it's a very ballsy thing to do because it exposes your computer to the web and your router's firewall has no effect anymore, but if you have the virus protection, as I do, then you should be fine. But that's just my solution.
