The tech underlying this may be better but the user interface is terrible, hopefully that is something that will be changed.
Will us former Exclusive Testers/Donators recieve some form of recognition on this new forum like we had on the old?

Loving the change, as Orrie said, vBulletin is the best forum software out there. However the theme is slightly iffy in places and it can be a minor challenge to work your way through the sub-forums. Nice work though.

Ah, nice! A bit of trouble logging in the first time, but it's fine now. Just one thing, what happened to the threads we posted on before the change?

I'm not sure if your avatar shows up on the forums anymore, which is kinda sad for me, but youu can you have to upload it again, as I belive the forums deleted some of your data, like the threads you posted in earlier and the avatar. Go to Settings and then Edit Avatar. The forums, though, has a much better graphical appearence!
congratulations for the new Forum!!!!
i suggest to put a background picture like a fight moment betwen some tanks and soldiers ;)

There is a difference between profile picture and avatar, so upload the right one. We imported the avatars but for some reason they didn't show up.
like the threads you posted in earlier and the avatar.
I don't see such issue...

The PayPal website has been changed to be standard US now.
Gabriel, we have no such plans, but you can customize your own profile.

You can put images into your signatures via image link, but you can't upload them if you aren't an Honor Member.

its the same GIF as in "old" forum. new forum show me same pic as profile picture animated. but as avantar its not animated. :confused:

The avatar limit is 10kb, for better browsing performance. Profile picture allows larger images.
I found it easier to find other threads I was watching. Might be a problem for me, maybe not for others.
It's possible that thread subscriptions weren't transferred, but there is a new subscription option available.

OK, that's all I wanted to know. Anyway, when I made a background for my profile, a message came up at the very botom of the screen, and I couldn;t move it up. There was an "ok" button hidden off the screen, and when I tried to scroll down, it stayed in the same place. Any hints on how to get by this?
Interesting new Forum... like the changes!

If you have issues, always post the browser you use as well, please.
i use mozilla firefox and dont have that problem, maybe if you have some antispam system for the browser, you should dissable for DMS web

im useing "Maxthon (http://www.maxthon.com/)" browser. :realbig: possible bug in this browser. notifications works with MS internet explorer.

For me it works fine. Also, I don't think the "reply with quote" button is working properly, for me at least. Oh well, the forums are a great improvement thatn the last.

Will the overall look of the forums be changed to the gray DMS colors? I find it a bit too flashy as it is right now.

I'm i the only one that find this new forum hard to use or to understand it? seem that nothing is working and the bb code for Image is off.

What is it that isn´t working, and/or what is hard to understand? If you tell us what you have problems with, then we might be able to help you instead of just guessing.
If you with "bb code for image is off" mean that your links to pictures at the bottom of your replies/messages doesnt show actual pictures, it is, as far as I know, because you´ve to become a honor member.

How about fixing the Community link to the forum as a start because that don't seem to work for me. anyway if this is how is going to be in DMS with that honor member thing i will not take part. but thanks Zeke for clearing some part for me.

I dont know why you guys had to change the SQL provider, it broke down once in a while but it was so much nicer to look at. And so much more user friendly. I cant even find all the posts I made in other people's threads any more, so I cant check for updates now.

The basic design has been completed and it should also help to make it easier to view unread topics, as the icons before were a little bit confusing especially when used to the old forums.
I think the new forum is alot better than the old one.
