View Full Version : low performance on 2 commonwealth skirmish missions

i dont know if you have noticed, but certain commonwealth missions like "torch" and ''Arnhem'' after half an hour gameplay and having captured first line of defence, the AI throws tanks and armoyred vehicles of which some of them get stuck between reckage or other obstacles and cannot move. other vehicles come behind them and stuck too. this in effect has a result of making the game to be in slow motion. the AI does not understand that these tanks have not been destroyed and sents more. i also have noticed that one or two german armoured vehicles after being destroyed completly, still fire their cannons. the point iam making is that when i target and finally destroy completly these bugged tanks/arm. vehicles the game runs smooth and fine. no problems after that. this happens also after the installation patch 1, only in torch, arnhem. no problems with the german, soviet and usa skirm. missions. i have lowered setting to minimum but this still happens which means its not a pc and graphics card problem. this must be something else.

I have seen similar situation happen on carentan, and when it did(puma just stopped moving in middle of street and another one drove onto it) the entire game went slow mo, I tried to reproduce it on another load but everything was fine 2nd time and 3rd time around playing same map over. Maybe somethimes something in the scripts in skirmishes causes ai to act in buggy way and cause some kind of excessive calculations, infinite loops etc...

there are plenty of threads actually complaining about that , let's hope the DEVS will solve this situation ....
