Space helmets and the dummy_item entity

Well after all these months of model making I am still unable to create a transparent helmet for my space soldiers. I can create almost any thing else but I still can't get the "simple" globe type helmet to be transparent. ThenI discovered the dummy_item element in the inventory section. This is what I would like to have as a transparent type helmet (without the exc lamation mark of course). I tried several attempts and was unsuccessful. So here I am, and one of you guys knows how to implement this I hope. If not that specifically then maybe just a globe type helmet that looks like that with the ability to change colors and be able to resize....can someone help out there?

try to create the round helmet, and the alpha channel of texture, paint it gray

This helmet is for soldiers
but I think it will be the same for Mow 8)

All you need to do is do an alpha mask on the texture, if you know how to do it and make sure its in .TGA or .DDS, use Paint.Net since its a lot easier than photoshop and has .DDS support already.

If you want, you can send me the texture, also any other file that goes with it and i'll do it for you, then send it back to you. Use a file uploading site such as megaupload and send me the link in a PM.

I woke up this morning and consulted the DMS forums and merry xmas to me! GeneralJ927 resolved my transparent globe problem and I almost missed work! This is what a forum is all about and now I can advance the Men of WAR experience into my space worlds.... pictures will becoming soon thank you for your professionalism and your HO HO HO XMAS gift!
