General Description:
Like the title says: It features early and late war and never finished or rare German, Russian and American vehicles or vehicles in prototype state.
USA->T28/T95
USSR->IS3
Germany->E100 (Tiger-Maus), Pz7 (Maus), NbFZ, Kugelblitz (FlakPzIV), Pak41-43/L71
Structure: Ludendorff railway bridge
Entourage: German radio rack
Maps/Missions:
USA->Remagen (big map, custom size, many triggers after task 4. Can be laggy) ------> T28 vs. E100
USSR->Berlin ------>IS3 vs. Maus and E100
German->Berlin-Kummersdorf ------>IS3 vs. Maus
===Installation===
Unpack it and copy it into your mod folder. Start the game, register the mod.
===Known bugs/issues===
The T28/95 tank can sometimes be knocked out with a single hit on the right sidie near the hatch bulge.
The final wave in the remagen mission are sometimes not rendered. You see the FX but no model.
There is a wrong localization file for the russian mission.

Second, all tanks are underpowered. A point blanc shot from my King tiger bounced of from the back of BT7!

On which map do you see the missing texture?
I didn't change any penetration values or anything gun related. I've just added models to the FOW standard. Sorry. i agree, I had a hard time to kill a T34 with a jagdtiger.
I love tank battles :) If there are too many tanks, open the editor and either turn off some triggers or delete some of them. Use your mine layers wisely and place the Maus wisely. That's the key

Very good mod just downloaded it and its cool but wheres the radio thing on the allied mission where u go stealth and have to go to island... i always fail it

Go to the right, take care of the patrol in the armored car. Don't get too close on the warehouse. Turn left. Kill the three soldiers guarding the boats. Go near the island. Then you have completed one task. After that your pointed to the village. There is an antenna and pz2 destroy it and you don't have to go stealthy anymore.
Be quick. After the transmitter has been destroyed, the train will start moving. The sarge gives you hints.
Sorry about the texture, I've used FOW standard textures. Open the map in the editor and paint over it.
I've replaced the blue soldiers and the missing texture.

Is ther a way that i may beable to add this to a mix mod of my own but can i me able to just copy and paste or is there another way?

You can use it if you want to. I said that in the readme file. I'm not sure what you want to copy and paste. entities or the script? If you paste the entities you'll lose the tags and the script will not work anymore. So, check the tags first (strg T) and add them again after pasting
Any chance you could try to make this mod compatible with Outfront 2? There already is many uncommon vehicles in the game and the T28 and Is-3 would make great addition to Allied and Soviet teams so they had something to counter 88's :)
Well, IS3 isnt much stronger in gun values from IS2, but significantly better armored, plus having a very structurally strong sloped armor. I am certain it could take enough beating and still get to a good range to counter KT and Elephant.
T28 is a story for itself, i think that tank can take an oomphing amount of 88s and still pluck out Jagdpanthers from afar.
In my opinion, it would be very cool to have all of your vehicles in OF2 :realbig:
As for people who think they are unreal, one word - Turtle. Significantly inferior design to T28, also a Paper Panzer, and it even wasnt used in WW2. I'd swapped it anytime for T28 :)

Sure but it depends how big the changes are.
If the most of the models are directly ported from FoW, i hardly see any difference, it would only need improved gun settings and armor data. In my opinion, that is :realbig:
Judging from the files I looked at last night in the x.pat files it should be easy to convert your PaPP tanks into Outfront. Hofepully we'll see them soon ;)
Crom, may Control and I try to place them in OF2? Just for testing purposes :)

But I will not do any updates or addition to this mod. I have just found out that somebody has stolen my work. He has also taken images from my website. Well at least he was kind enough to link to it.

The first reason I can understand but second one.... no, not really.
Don't get me wrong, I don't support any kind of stealing but these things happen and will keep happening. It should irritate you but not put you off your work.
You are one of the most advanced modders in this community and loosing your input would be quite bad, if you ask me. I hope you get over it and keep participating :realbig:

I just recently tried to make the PaPP vehicles work in multiplayer. Since I only made this to play with a friend, I wont upload/give out the files/text, so you have to do it yourself.
But I can (I hope I don't get slaughtered for this) post a picture, just to prove it :P

here's a list of them I can model because I have nice scale drawings (Doyle, Lentz, Bradford).
I can do others too but the level of detail depends on the quality of the drawings or photos provided.
So, please tell me what you would like to see.
German--->Recon:
Based on PzII chassis:

There are a number of experimental SAMs like the "Rheintochter", Enzian, Wasserfall, wire guided bombs (Fritz-X) and AA-missiles but these are useless for the game.

I believe Allies will have a hard time with all of those nice models around!
To be honest, i havent heard about quite a number of them... so could you pm me their pics?
Ok, here is my list of vehicles i think to be most fun...
-Coelian (you can use the existing Panther Chassis and make modifications on it) in both flavours - 3,7 and 5,5 cm
-Lowe
-Rutscher (sounds fun, but i dont have a clue about how it looks)
-Porsche Typ 245-010 (i also dont know how it looks)
-E-series.
For Russians:
IS7 (well, they do need something against Lowe, Maus and E100)
T44, and perhaps, since we now do alternate history, T54/55. I think it is only the different turret.
Su14 could go after the OF2 is released... against Karl, perhaps...
I think Allies also deserve something to them... Perhaps Pattons? :)

You are right the allies need something too but I have to collect drawings about their experimental stuff first.
Anyway I can't do all of these vehicles alone. Unfortunately I can't work on them 8-12 hours a day :)
Maybe someone wants do some of them or only the textures. If I do this alone, it will take months to finish.
I can't publish pictures it's copyright stuff and I have number of different sources. That would take some time to scan all this stuff.
I'll look for centurion reference material.

This new Tiger 2... Doesnt look like it could move much with its hull so low. I bet its even heavier than its predecessor. I'd like to see some faster tanks for the Germans :realbig:

This "Tiger II" was Ferdinand Porsche´s design of the King Tiger. As we all know, this design lost out and Hitler opted for the more conventional King Tiger design as we know it today. They (the designers) were so sure that their design would win, that they started produced turrets before being granted the "Go" reply, and thats why the first 50 King Tigers were equipped with the Porsche designed turret. It was mainly an upgraded version of Porsche´s loosing design for the Tiger I, still equipped with the unproven and unreliable electric transmission (which demanded huge quantities of the rare copper) and petrol engines.

Although this is for another mod (CNC3), i recently started to play FOW, and must say i like it...
So... if I get a bit help on how to get modding started with FOW, i might go for a dual approach and use the models for both modding platforms...
I'm open for a model exchange, that way, both projects can advance...

On your site, I see you started on a 30.5cm L/16 auf Sfl Bär..
The rectangle on the gunsocket is incorrect though..It is actually a cutout of the curbed gun compartment, so that the gun has enough elevation to functions as a mortar...The frontal view is deceptive :grandpa:

The "Skink" was a Canadian design based upon the Grizzly chassis, which is the specific Canadian version of the Sherman... It is not an American design...

If you want to add AA to the US side, there are other options to take, like the M19 GMC...

I have scale drawings for most of them but for me it takes about 2 weeks to model, texture and export one vehicle. One week during holidays. So, folks, if you want to see more vehicles finished in a reasonable time, please put together a list of up to 5 vehicles and I can start to model them. If some people join in, we could make a vehicle pack in less time.
I dont think you will need Chaffee and Stuart, they will appear in OF2 :) Nor an U-Boat...
Haha, an U-boat war in Multiplayer! x)
I'm gonna make that when I get Outfront!
Anyways...
There is a lot of vehicles I would like to have, but I think we need more Soviet.... The IS-3 can't really stand up with the Maus/E-100 ... :/

But u should still put the Chaffee and Stuart which if i had a rough estimate of the Poly count of the most tanks that would be. I could do some if i knew so that would be great. thanks

Golly gee, how come the Germans haven't won the war yet? 8O
Interestingly enough, T54 was out of the drawing board in the beginning of 1946, and if the war lasted long enough, first thousands of it would appear during the same year. With armour surpassing the KT and the gun simmilar to KT's, not to mention its agility, simplicity and mass production... Ya right.
Maus wasnt definite solution at all. Late war designs were made exclusively for defence. Last viable assault product was Panther 1 - Panther 2 was a lumbering beast similar to KT. And we all know, defence can't stand forever... Not against the mass productions of USSR and Allies. German was strictly slave work, and with bombings 24-7... Its wonder they kept the production going at all.

The russians didnt have alot of types of tanks period. They relied more on tons of certain types of tanks.

Some more cannons would be fun to have to.

Do you make unit_icons for the units, or structure pictures for the things you make by chance? Like ones that look offical, like they look like they were actually part of the game from the start?
I make them after the vehicle is ready. I load them in a map add light make a close up screenshot (targa format, alpha split. It's easier then to cut it from the backround).
Load that shot into your picture editor, cut the sky. resize to the frames images size. Put them into the empty icon templates (new layer) save them.
Another and easier way is to do it within your 3d package.
Choose a side view. Render. Save as targa file, alpha split.
Do the rest as explained above.
Lighting is not that relevant in those thumbnails.
If you are talking about the schematic images, I use the toon shader in Max to do them.

hey was that 75mm gun on the e100 supposed to work or was it scrapped before you released it?
how to instal this mod? i instal the game and made a mob folder and dragged PaPP folder in the mod folder i made then installed the patch v1.04.1a patch than installed the editor so what i have to do now? i turn on the game and went to options and clicked on mods i clicked on PaPP and apply and the game sad something like the game is going to be terminated any help plz

There are a number of experimental SAMs like the "Rheintochter", Enzian, Wasserfall, wire guided bombs (Fritz-X) and AA-missiles but these are useless for the game.
Cromtec, you're the best, I like modeling any vehicles on the list, you're the only one prototype model vehicles, no one model, not because I hope that many models of vehicles from the list (I can model all the jeje) nose which tell you because I like all tanks jeje, good enough if you can model, the scheme does not really tell which is all I like.

I have some drawings of the P-1000 but what's it good for? It would be unbeatable in game. The only thing that could damage it would be battleships or bombers.

i say no because of the realism of the game. the border between realism and fiction would be that the thing would be way on the fictional side! it woudnt move one its to big and 2 its way to heavy! weighing in the millions of pounds its a cruiser on tacks thats all it is. you would have to transport it in peices because the sheer size and weight, and whats the point of having it its it would be to expecive, lets see you would have to chose either one massive weapon thats useless, or alot or usful tanks and infintry. plus i would rather go with the dora and gustav rails guns way before the P,1000 ratte.

yes but i think you should ease it into the game so is not to make ppl dislike the mod, you should like put the sturm tiger first then the K-5 rail gun then so on and so on till you get to the P,1000 ratte.

Usually it takes 2 days to make a tank/vehicle if you are not "distracted" by something else.
1 day for modelling, mapping and texturing, export and 1 day for basic tests and corrections. During a normal week of work, I need about 4-5 days.
Open vehicles take more time to model because there are more parts. The IK-structure of aircrafts is more complex. It depends on the model.

Why the T-44?
I would like to model the T-44/100 because apart from that I like most t-34/85 that could cope with the King Tiger (well, at least it was more powerful than the T-34/85), in addition to you model you are right, I want to learn but nobody taught me.

I could model the T-44 but look at the discussions the IS-3 causes.
I think both sides are right. I'm not sure whether it's a good idea to add another prototype. The Germans would have a big advantage in the prototype section. Mass and quality wise.
Not only tanks but paks too. Leave alone all those exotic weapon projects they have worked on.
I have mixed feelings about the whole prototype idea. On the one hand it adds great, sometimes revolutionary, designs to the game. On the other hand it's hard to balance it.

I did it for soldiers. An export for MOW is possible but not worth the time and effort to remodel it.
Despite of that it is a very simplified version made for the Soldiers engine. MOW can handle far more details.
