Should light and heavy AT cannons be used in Outfront 2 multiplayer?
Under heavy guns i consider heavy AA guns in the roles of AT defence.
Heavy AT/AA:
German - Wheeled FlaK 41 88 mm
Allied - Vickers 93 mm
Soviet - 52K 85 mm
Light AT:
German - PaK 36 37mm
Allied - M3 Gun 37mm
Soviet - 53-K 45 mm
Heavy AT/AA guns should act as cheaper alternative to tanks in defense, but only towable (deploying with truck), having quite high profile and very little possibilities to be camouflaged. Also are very vulnerable to infantry and scouts. Positive things is that they can be rotated around their axis faster than anything, thus, good for countering even the flank or rear attacks in matter of seconds. They also fire poweful hi-calibre shells at long range, with high accuracy and considerably low reload speed. Tow truck should also carry a lot of spare ammo.
Suggested Ammo: 20 AP, 5 HE rounds in gun + 1 AP in barrel + 80 AP, 40 HE in tow truck.
Suggested Range: 120 m (edge over tanks).
Suggested Extras: Gun shield
Suggested Price: 30-35 CP, limited to 2 per player
Light AT guns should act like frontline alternative to RPGs, very mobile (both towed and pushed), very fast turn radius, very low sillhouette. Also very easily camouflaged in bushes. Ammo capacity is very high in gun itself. Negative things are that it poses no threat to most medium tanks, but, in turn, they are devastating against APCs, light tanks and armored cars. Also providing infantry with HE covering fire.
Suggested Ammo: 40 AP, 25 HE + 1 AP in barrel. Boxes with ammo carried in trucks and halftracks, containing 30 AP, 15 HE in form of a pickupable box.
Suggested Range: 70 m (edge over infantry weapons).
Suggested Extras: 5 HEAT grenades (increased power against medium tanks), 4 bushes.
Suggested Price: 12-15 CP, without limitation
