View Full Version : Why do so many people NOT update their game?

From, what I can tell - as of right now there are 50 people right now playing Assault Squad, yet none of them have that latest version?!?!?

Seriously, I could be playing online but I can't because so many people haven't updated. What gives? It'd be a hell of a lot better if DMS could force a way for players to update the game, we'd have a lot more people playing.

It'd be good if they set something up like Relic did with Company of Heroes in which they actually force people to update the game before they can play online.

Of course this would cause issues in the way of mods and so on but it'd just be better for everyone overall compared to the community being split like how MoW is now...

I agree, why not do this? Having more people to play with is a much better thing.

Just for everybody who doesn't realise it yet, AS shares the lobby with vanilla MoW. All the games you see at 1.17.5 are vanilla, everybody who has AS updates their game and I've never seen people running old versions.
