So, I bought a M16, (the halftrack with the quad .50 cal on the back) figuring it was good for when aircrafts try to bomb me, to my dismay, the turret has extremely limited vertical movement.

I knew from previous experience that the turret limits are in the .def file, so I figured I'd just edit it slightly to make it more viable.

I did exactly the same as I have with any other vehicle, but the changes won't stick.

Step by step.
1. I went to my install of Men of War and found the e1.pak file
2. found the m16.def file under btr.
3. I copy that file into a folder i made under

E:\Games\Men of War\mods\Campaign\resource\entity\-vehicle\btr\m16

4. I opened the .def in notepad++, like I have with any other .def file, I change what I want, and save and try it out.

The changes aren't actually taking effect.

To further verify this I changed the speed from 34 to 30 blank (it's an easier change to judge) and I reloaded DCG and MoW, but the speed was still 34. I even played a few missions, still nothing.

It's like I didn't edit the .def at all.

What am I doing wrong? Anybody that can spot the problem?
Am I using the wrong .def? does the M16 have a different folder name?

EDIT: Solved, Apparently, I needed to restart DCG a second time...

This would be a great addition for all AA machine guns in general, actually

I haven't tested others but if they have the same limited vertical movement as the M16 then they are more useful for Anti-Infantry roles rather than Aircraft.
