Funnyest/Most embarrassing DCG moment?

What's the funnyest and/or most embarrassing thing youve ever did in DCG?

I'll start it off...
I added gliders from Brothers of War mod to my version of DCG, and was using the missions pack that was released on these forums. I had made my own operation based on an unrealistic cherbourg operation (with allies invading from beaches and from land)
I had attacked the crete invasion slot (from the mission pack miiikeeeee made here)... I had 2 gliders, each filled with 1 101st AB rifle squad. I had the glider fly real high up to avoid AA fire from below. I brought it back lower once near the airfield, but accidentally brought it too low. The right wing gets clipped on the control tower, and the virtually invincible glider then crashes into one of its 2 known (by me) methods of killing it... Lets just say i lost 20 points worth of soldiers and equipment :/

well In my last campaign as the germans..i had a panther and a newly captured Kv-1, i went to shoot a large group of infintry with a HE shell....i shot and then saw nothing, and saw it hit my panther in the back of the turret...this wasnt that bad so I just tryed to move forward around my panther in DC of course but the one arrow key was ackowledegd as being down so i crashed into my panther.....and all of a sudden my panther exploded , no survivors and killed the Kv-1 alos...and some of my infintry.......i no longer uuse Kv-1's...... .

Captured a Karl Thor siege gun. Next map I selected a spawn point and I didn't realize it was in the middle of a minefield.

I really hate it when you spawn in a minefield with any equipment...

I love it when I have to spawn on a beach map and the only place I can spawn is underwater.

I love it when you spawn underwater on the beach map THEN get blown up by the minefield right on the beach.

well i cant remember the worst laughter bringing stunt i've pulled in DCG..

but probally one of the things i keep doing over and over is loading my support tank (normally a T34 for the russians or sherman for the US etc.) full of captured TnT and weapons and ammo and junk, and having a AT shell punch a hole in the hull and set all the crap off and make it blow sky high. :evil:

and on the topic of mines, on 2.2 i once did a early year beach assault map with the germans and had a mine field cover the spawn zone and had to restart a few times so i could get my troops down and let my AI support div troops assault and take fire untill i could get my men clear of the mine field, it was that map where you spawn all right in that one bunker area with a flooded city area with tanks wrecks off to the side of it, main was it hard to dodge the tommies and get my best troops hidding in time. (this was back one the troops started on AI move. :sad2: )

Playing as a Russian conscript horde (for fun) and sent them to take a trench system. As they got close to the Jungle they bumped into a Japanese patol... all 40 men died in seconds as my flamer opened up and managed to miss all the japanese and set fire to my cover instead!

The funniest moment was when I took on 15 or 18 T-34/85's with an Achilles and won in the North Korea campaign, I think this was with 2.1 or so.

Edit: Actually, I just remembered something much more embarrassing: I was playing as the USSR vs Germany and I had edited the files to allow me to deploy a number of squads worthy of a Red Army assault force (though I still allowed the enemy to have significantly more squads) and I sent all my inf into cover about 2/3's of the map away from my start point. I had already killed the enemy's vehicles, so I thought I could look away for a bit; I came back a minute later and All +/- 20 squads of infantry had been completely overwhelmed and all I had left was my rear line of 4 squads and 4 tanks verses 50+ squads of infantry. Did I mention that the tanks all had their tracks knocked off?

oh, and i just remembered, back one i was my own home made french faction i used personally aways back...


..i had a tank a long range gun and some troops all nice and shiny..

..and than the germans came and dropped a crap load of bombs on them and kill all but 4 of them who after loading a number of times were able to take cover in a house, which was half blown up as well..

and i had to play a true to soldiers/FoW/MoW style battle to take out a tank, 4-6 sqauds of inf, and one long range gun with 4 little frenchies with their rifles, and one LMG...

was still fun as heck but hard, luckily i found some land mines.
