I want to add faces from real photos to the faces of Men of War skins... I heard it can be done, but how exactly is this accomplished.. I have photoshop c3s with the Nvidia DSS plugins, so i can open humanskins..
Can someone whom is familiar with this process, please explain to me the process to successfully cut & paste real human faces on MOW charachters?
Thanks!

well, i don't know fully well how you would do it, but generally a photo is just a texture file, and if you could get a image to "flatten" out a bit so it would wrap around the models head better i think you could pull it off, basicly i think just a straight dead on picture of some ones face, and than use the "scale image" option to change its size to be close to what you want, than move pieces of it if needed, or the whole, over to the space in the DDS file for the skin.
hope that helps.

if you really want to do it the professional way you can take a picture of a persons face from the front, back, sides and top, then use photoshop to morph them together into one image.

I have just tried to do this using GIMP (with .dds plugin), and got a message saying the layers were different sizes and could not be mapped. I opened the file again to try again and only the face was there and the rest of the skin had gone. I'll have to redownload the mod because the file is now unusable, but anyway, what should I have done?
Cheers!
