Well, I'm not sure if this belongs in this area but it seemed like the proper place.
But anyway, I have recently redesigned a hat for use in my work but everytime they pick the hat up it returns to its original coloring and such.
Any help would be appriciated.
~Feared.
Maybe i'm not in the theme and maybe i understand you wrong but i have the same problem(i think)
I have created the new skins for helmets but then soldier take them, it show original skin. :brickwall:
right off the top of my head, this is all i can think of that might give you the before mentioned problem.
use this as a example.
{actor
(include "/properties/stuff_small.ext")
{extender "stuff"
{item "chi_cap"}
}
{Extension "usmc-cap1.mdl"}
}
this code comes from the DEF. file inside your entity, folder open it.
{"extender "stuff"
{item "chi_cap"}
and change this part to match the name of your SET. file for the hat, for example.
{"extender "stuff"
{item "chi _cap"}
and change it to.
{
"extender "stuff"
{item "rus_cap2"}
or whatever name you have for your new hat.
and than if its the same problem i think it is, it should work.
thanks i try it now
