Heaven only knows I wish the very best for these forums. I've seen so many come and go in such a short time it's been a bit discouraging. The thing that bothers me is the loss of modding information for Soldiers-HoWWII as these other forums and sites close down. So I'm asking that anyone who would care to contribute some useful modding information on Soldiers to please share it on the official Codemasters Soldiers website as well. My only intention is to spread the modding knowledge and not to overshadow this forum in any way. I think we're getting a good start over there but since I'm no modder I have no idea how much information is missing from what has been already been accumulated. If any of the modders here can spare just a moment or two to copy any info they post here to the Codemasters site also it will be greatly appreciated by all the modders who may miss this site. I intend to make a sticky of each relevant modding topic on the Codemasters modding site, that way all Soldiers modders can easily find the specific information they are looking for. Any suggestions in this endevour are greatly appreciated. Again no disrespect is intended to the administrators of this website. I've seen Wikis come and go and the loss of valuable and useful information because of a lack of interest by the site admins just seems a crying shame in my opinion.

If I'm out of line here for posting this here Instinct, Skael then please delete this thread.

Well it'd certainly be nice Albus but I meant it for all the modders no matter where they are from ;) . I've seen two independant wikis go bye-bye in the last year :( . I've seen far more independant Soldiers modding sites do the same  . People do lose interest in games and close their websites after a short while and I'm only trying to compile a stable database in the event others do the same. Without an official map editor and explicit instructions many people who would otherwise mod the game decide to do something less difficult. As long as there is interest in the game the official Soldiers website will have the long term stability to make modding information available. DMS forums are certainly not listed on the box or in the game's instruction manual. That's why I put links to this website in my siggy there and vice-versa :) .

I really enjoy this game like no other I've ever played before. I'm an old school gamer from the days of TelStar's Pong and I've seen and played just about every type of game made for consoles since. This one is the first game to keep me occupied for more than a few short weeks. I've been playing it now for over two years :realbig: . And would you believe I found the game in a bargain bin for just $5 U.S.? 8O

I've been making threads in the Codemasters forums using your postings. And I've been giving the entire credit for the information to you as well and using quotes so people don't think I'm the brainy one  . But it still makes me feel like a heel since my name is on the thread starter instead of yours :( .
