Linux port?

Please?

The only thing keeping me on windows are my games. If devs / publishers started to port the new games to linux I could finally make the switch on my gaming PC.

Unfortunately the base for Linux users isn't there for them to justify develoupment of linux versions.

I would too switch to Linux in a heart beat if my games could join me... or even Ubuntu.

Indeed, it's a catch 22, While the user base is too small they won't develop games, but because they won't develop games people are restricted to windows in order to play the games. Sadly it's vendor lock in.

But until developers start taking the risk there is no way to break the cycle.

That is too true. Risks are a unneeded expense to Publishers and sadly we all suffer because they cant take em.
