View Full Version : Men of War Community - A Xfire 'Cult'!
I just wanted to make sure we are all sticking together when Men of War comes out (And the times till that day), so I decided to make a new Xfire 'Cult'.
Yes I know there are some old Xfire groups, but nobody has crated one for Men of War. (This was the 5th group that added Men of War Beta in its gameslist).
The group is called: Men of War Community
I have invited over 15 people from my contact list.
These are people I >KNOW< plays Men of War/Faces of War.
Tho, some was already in 5 Groups/clans, so they have to leave one before they can join.

I hope to see you in the list!

How do I do this ?
I have to accept everyone that asks for invitation.
szebus, I see you have sent an application for joining, and I'll accept everyone. (Except if they are totally maniacs :realbig: )
Oh, and welcome to the 'Cult' :D
Why is it 'a cult'? Xfire uses the word community...
E: NVM, I missed to spot the 'cult' words in Xfire... Somehow that word just gives me a negative feeling (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_Solar_Temple).
Yeah, if you want, I could change it to team or group or something?

Well I like the 'group' word but there is no imminent need to change it. Just leave it be. ;)

That would be me, but you have already invited me :p

You totally sure?
We are a community, so I'll try to make everyone's wises possible :D

I mean maniacs in real-life, not on the battlefields
If you got 5 minutes to spare please do this :).
Head over to This Xfire Thread (http://www.xfire.com/xf/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=217802&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight) and just say you want to support the game.
Any other comments are much appreciated!
Lets get Men of War on the Xfire Game List FAST! :D
EDIT: This is of course if you have an Xfire user.
Cult? Why not clan? Cult is is a group of occultists :P And MOW is certainly not supernatural..
Clan sounds more, umhh, Clan-ish.
We are not a clan, we are not a group, we are a Cult!
A Cult that follows Men of War!

cult does not just meen "occultists" it can also be used to meen a group of like minded people interested in a particular subject. i prefer "cult" from the options that xfire gives on what type of group you are as "clan" can give the wrong impression of what the group is about.
I feel the same way Sgt Steiner!

Making a Steam Community Group is a little pointless when the game ain't buyable on Steam itself....

No, your exactly the type we need!
Making a Steam Community Group is a little pointless when the game ain't buyable on Steam itself....
Steam OverLay works fine with MoW and Steam supports 3rd party games for launch and ID ...
and there is lot of WW2 fans on STEAM (let say some tens thousands to quarter million) ...
i see no reason to not have MoW group on STEAMcommunity ...
about the point of 'game not buyable on STEAM' ... wise publishers covers always all stores ...
Just wanted to inform that we have become very large with over 70 members and counting.
Maybe we one day reaches 400 (Which is max) :insane:
Anyways...
Just to let everyone know here, there will be a competition around the 20th of April (Friday).
So if anyone wants to join, just logon/register at Xfire, join the Men of War Community Cult (http://www.xfire.com/clans/menofwarc/) and post in this thread (http://www.xfire.com/clans/menofwarc/forums/140018/topic/590175/offset/0/#post1354579).
