Howdi people,
I have posted two little packages (12 and 20 megs) over at the FoW forum site for the benefit of the community
http://files.filefront.com/FoW+stuffZIP ... einfo.html (http://files.filefront.com/FoW+stuffZIP/;7327620;;/fileinfo.html)
The downloads entail new weapon and vehicle models, skinned and ready to go. In the second download I included the set and desc entries. Plz note, that each weapon's set file assigns sound that you wont have in your directory, so you will have to manually edit the fireSound and reloadSound entries.
I am not permitted by Digitalmind and BW to release these sounds so will have to use your own. You will get these sounds sooooon enough thought :)
Virtually every weapon has been edited and the new ones include various Sten models, Lanchester, PIAT, G41, G43, MP38, Springfield, 30 cal and 50 cal machineguns, FG42 models, scoped Kar98K, new MG34 and MG42, De Lisle carbine, Gammon, bran' new Bren, ZB26, Lee Enfield M5 Jungle Carbine and a lot of others.
The vehicles are Nashorn, M4A1 Sherman, M10 Achilles and wolverine and others. Guns like the 6-pounder/57mm AT gun and a 50mm PAK38 model.
I also made various "body armour" to outfit the troops and new helmets.
Enjoy.
Bumpy
Since link and the other forum are dead where i can find this mod? Anyone?

could we get some pictures?
could we get some pictures?
No, not really :realbig:
Loran Korn showed up on these forums few months ago. Shelled out few models, weapons, a couple of tutorials and bunch of good hints and advices and disappeared. (He's probably busy, if I understood correctly he's one of the developers, sound expert)
Just download his package and if you know how to put new things in the game you wont regret downloading it. If you don't know how to do these things better wait for someone to use Loran's stuff in some mod. 8)

Errrrm shouldn't there be a \entity\inventory\-equipment\head\ folder for the helmets? 8O
Any download links for this mod still exists? Would be greatly appreciated if someone had one.

It would be very, very nice if someone could make this resource available for download.
(...and I'm obviously not the first one to ask either...)

Unfortunately LoranKorn isn´t visiting this site any longer and as far as I know, he hasn´t been doing it for a very long time either. Last report I heard about him, was that he was making some new sound files for Company of Heroes. Hopefully he will return now when Men of War has been released and see this thread.

Yeah, I know that Lorankorn isn't around now, but I just thought that someone could provide a new download link , since the current link is dead.
The stuff was apparently meant to be used as a resource, and several persons are in possession of the resource & using it, its just a shame that the link is dead.

Very nice!!
I shall archive this and upload it on my server asap.
Filefront can get a bit mean when they delete files that haven't been downloaded in X days. :?

Nice of you to post it! By the way, do you by any chance happen to have the other weapons Lorankorn mentioned in the first post? I'm referring to the ZB-26, PaK-38, Lee Enfield, etc.

I'm kind of wondering where the other Lorankorn files are... there must be a lot of people that have these resources lying around on their harddrives...
Its just to find out what is who's.
Tho, I didn't see the models before link with some of the files was added, so few mods seems to have used them.
But maybe somebody have the exact same folder/files that where released.
I've also tried to contact LoranKorn without luck. He has deleted his account on RelicNews forums, so I've no clue on his whereabouts.

Here is some more content by Lorankorn: http://files.filefront.com/Lorankorn+fi ... einfo.html (http://files.filefront.com/Lorankorn+filesrar/;13489968;/fileinfo.html)
Many thanks to Ngvede for sending me the files!
It contains a StuH '42, a PaK38, a ZB-26 and some other small stuff. There may be duplicates, and I was too lazy to put the files in order. And by the way, Orrie, you should upload this content on your site aswell; it would be great if they were available there too, since Filefront deletes content too quickly...

Awesome! Thank you, SS-Kommando, thank you Ngvede!
And please someone... host these so they don't disappear again!
I'll back it up on my server asap!
Thanks Kommando and ngvede!
EDIT: I think there is some sound files missing. I haven't seen the original release, but some of the weapons use custom sounds which are not in the package.
The legend lives on!
EDIT2:
I've sorted the content and fused it with the 1st discovery, tho it seems that those files was in new pack.

Some essential files in the set folder are missing
Just give a a little more time and I'll make step in files till someone finds them too. :)

I just checked out the weapons and this seems to be a totally new pack.
It doesn't have High-Res textures as the 1st package has.
I would also say that the helmet's texture is kinda weird made. :?
The newest stuff was a little disappointing then the first stuff. :|

LoranKorn never released the content of the first pack (fj german weapons) he released two files wich i've uploaded with the second pack and yes you're right the ones of the first pack are way better especially the mgs
The helmet's textures are messed up from real german helmets and they are nice looking in game.
