Men of War has huge potential to catch on with the micro heads and the realism junkies. The only problem is that nobody has heard of Soldiers, Faces of War or Men of War. The Russians know about it of course but what about North America :?:

I know that DMS, 1C and Best Way probably have a budget. But for the sake of the game having sucsess around the world they should see if Steam would be able to sell the game. It would make the game sell and gain popularity. Just a thought

I searched but none had a response from the admins. Unless I'm missing something.

Instead of having CD keys. You have your steam account that all your online purchases are saved onto. So you can log onto anybodys computer with steam and download your games and play them

EA is bringing all their games into Steam this year. Valve, the company behind Steam, has all of their games (Half Life series for example) in Steam etc. + They have holiday sales! I grabbed Bioshock for 5 euros from Steam few weeks ago :hurray:

It's a brilliant way to market their game, first of all steam is the most secure and popular online distribution there is to date. Secondly Men of War would get a lot of publicity throw it especially in the west west market where not too many people have heard of the series.

And yes you can play Steam games even if you don't have Internet all the time. All that is required is a one-time activation of your account/cd key for a game and then you can play it in offline mode.

I really think DMS or the publishers should consider it, even tho im 99% sure that they already have everything decided regarding marketing etc, this is seriously something to take into consideration for future titles.

Steam is wonderfull for keeping mods and map updated.
I usually play Red Orchestra through it and I really appreciate the way it downloads upgrades automatically.
