Men of War SP demo - Sniper Rifle - no sound ?

I am playing "Men of War" Single Player (Russian) demo. I found the sniper rifle in the white and red box near the building where you have to free the 2 German soldiers. This rifle has no sound when you shoot it. Is this a normal mistake for this beta? demo ?

My rifle got a lot of noise. :) Check your sound driver. :huh:

UPDATE - playing the "Men of War" demo (Russian beta demo) with english loacalization.pak.

The German sniper rifle has no sound when fired. Also the Pzb39 armour piercing rifle found in the Ju52 crash site also has no sound when fired.
Anyone else have this problem ?

Also the German MG34 has the same sound as the small British tripod mounted machine gun - ie. in the "Silence the machine gun" mission.

My sound driver should be fine 'cause "Faces of War" full game and other games works perfect - all sounds.

i think its just you, i was played the demo last night and i could hear the sniper rifle.

UPDATE - playing the "Men of War" demo (Russian beta demo) with english loacalization.pak.

Tried the same demo I downloaded on someone else's computer and the same thing happens - no sniper rifle or Pzb39 armour piercing rifle sound/audio when shooting.

Not too worried about it much, just reporting it. The english demo should be released this January 09 I think, anyway, with it's release in the West.
