Well, I´ve read too much post about gamespy and that problem, that affects ME, It´s frustrating, being unable to host a match really cut off my fun, I´ve to find a open match and most of the time I cant find one, and Mow is getting close... I will get mad if that problem is in Men of War... Is MoW going to use Gamespy? or at last it´s going to solve this problem?

Hopefully not, I've got a principle against Gamespy :baseball: But in the beta it is used. Can't you port-forward to fix your problem?

nah, I think it´s because I´m too far from the gamespy server

27900- UDP
28910- TCP
3210 UDP
6667 TCP
8088 UDP

and no use...still having the problem, even with 2 MB of conextion

Also my friends said the only game with a gamespy server that works properly is the IL 2 Sturmovik

Yeah and people use hyperlobby for IL-2

6667 (IRC)
3783 (Voice)
27900 (Master Server UDP Heartbeat)
28900 (Master Server List Request)
29900 (GP Connection Manager)
29901 (GP Search Manager)
13139 (Custom UDP Pings)
6515 (Dplay UDP)
6500 (Query)

Here are all the ports used by gamespy, you missed some. They are all TCP.

And that's exactly what he has done :shady:
Actually router is just like an extension cord, what you mean is adsl modem. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ADSL_modem)
Strange.. Well, there still might be something interfering, you could try connecting to the net directly (swapping the ethernet cable to another slot in your modem, they usually have two with and two without NAT, or switch it off) and shutting down your firewall for the brief period you try whether it will then work. If it doesn't, well, nothing can be done.

Hosting with Men of War will be easier.
In both Betas, I've hosted without any issues, but Faces of War has the NAT problem, even with Ports opened.

Very good site for helping with Ports in your router.

GameRanger lets you play Soldiers and Faces of War online without port-forwarding.
