Hi :)

Me and my brother both have Soldiers on our Vista's. But after I created a few missions with the Gem Editor for various maps it stopped working :sad2: . LAN games had worked before I made the missions. Whenever we try to join the other's game it say resource desynchronization. When we click on details it lists the various missions I've created

I've searched by entire computer for these files and tried reinstalling the entire application. But the problem persists :(

As a last resort I may have to wipe the hard drive and reinstall Vista but I don't want to do that :)

 Any ideas?

Well as some of the guys here pointed out to me you need all of the correct files to create a mod and make it work. You may be missing some files such as resource/entity/landscape/map/yourmodname or resource/map/yourmodname. You could post the problem information from the soldiers mi. file here in this thread and someone might be able to pin it down for you more thoroughly for you too. I hope you get it going and good luck.

I don't have any mods in my folder at the moment.

And unlike my Xp it doesn't save all the edited missions in resource/map. They doesn't seem to exist. I've checked all the game folders and all the files which can be explored with winRar.

Where does Vista hide them! :baseball:

And yes Single-player does work...

All Fixed! :)

I found out I had to go to the soliders folder and click the 'compatibility files'. Then I found the missions sitting there :D . Sorry to be a nuisance.

Hey, no problem. That's what these forums are all about anyways, helping one another. Glad you got it going.
