Faces of War lagg issues

I've been retro playing the older games a lot latly especially since the MoW beta was closed a couple of weeks ago, well anyway almost completed Soldiers Heroes of WW2 in coop and thought i'd move on to Faces of War which i actually haven't ever finished.

The main reason has been lag, it's a great game but it lags and i seem to recall they making a lagfix patch but it never really helped so much, is there any word of advice?. When trying the full version about a year or two ago i remember heavy lag on the larger maps, i think it was the 2nd or 3rd mission in the campaign were it really started to be annoying.

Anyway i don't know were i have the game and i am thinking of rebuying Faces of War, but it would be abit unnecessary if it still lags so much as it did sometime ago.

I've a decent system and i had one back then as well so it's not the computer itself:
# Q6600 2,7ghz
# 4 GIG ram
# 4870HD ATI 512mb

Well, it may also depend on what people you are playing. I play alot with rafo, but in showw2 we have lots of lag but in fow its sweet, same for mow. But well, Fow had still some lag, mow has better mp, try playing with hamachi, the lag is smaller.

Try hosting a game in MP and play by yourself and note if u get lag and then play with other people, it might be your pc or that other people are lagging and cause everyone else to lag due to high ping or crappy pc perf

Obviously I've tried both in coop and alone in SP and it's defiantly not Internet lag, and since you can see my specs in the post above you'll see that the computer can handle most new games on highest settings, and fow is still a few years old.

However i noticed that there was an additional patch 1.4.1.0a or something that should reduce FPS lag significantly for fast pc's , not sure if it works yet i am waiting for my game to arrive tomorrow.
