You can skip about 40 seconds of self adulation at the beginning. 2:02 minutes trailer.
Nicely done. More for the public than the first 2 lessons trailers I must say.

sorry i said it that way but it's important to make a good trailer to help your game sale!
The only interesting part in this video was that when you showed the tanks in lines, and the infantry and tanks rolling together from the upper view (use more upper view! it looks much better there!) the fonts were ugly world-like, u could have dont more work with thoes fonts... the music was annoying
guys jumping out of planes looked weird.
Next time more BETTER EDDITED combats and more EXPLOSION for better hype and sales.
if i didn't know this game i would thought it's just another medicore WW2 RTS...

from the trailer i saw the Kingtiger it is with Porsche turret not a Henchel one. :sad2: (tanks in the lines)
This was not a basical trailer. It was an engine demonstration to show what new and unique(?) features there are in Men of War. And if I was a game reporter I would definitely mention the game in my text after seeing that preview.

But I'm preaty sure it will help with sellings, and helping sellings = helping the company.
But than again 1C don't have a MONSTER budget like EA to create amazing trailers to not-so-amazing games. (but they sell, and i know that trailers DO effect it, by watching comments and actually i did a survey about it in a big gaming site.

I have doubt about 12 of sept. since there have been many lies and unkept promises, but if they release on sept 12 ill be happy... :)
I really really wonder about will the major gaming review sites underate this game again to much (like GameSpot that gave Faces of War 6.0, which really doesn't reflects the game quality... altough he had it's problem... like the annoying AI that make me wanna kill the soldiers of mine just because they don't listen xD).

If you're tired of the single-player campaign (which will include 19 total missions), Men of War will also feature online multiplayer for up to 16 people, as well as the ability to play as Japan in multiplayer. Because there will be no resource gathering or other traditional RTS tropes, the developers are hoping that Men of War will cater to strategy fans who don't mind a bit more pace in their World War II battles. Men of War is scheduled for release next month.

They say both of the dates.
09/12 in the movies and 12/8 in the Men of War page... wtf?
Maybe they messed up the date.
9 / 12 / 2008 ~ 12 / 9 / 2008 etc.
Maybe someone said its coming out on 12.09.2008 and the gametrailer people thought it was December because month is said before the day there.

It will definately be nice with so many more vehicles becoming available! I can't wait! But I have to agree with Mastix that the trailer could be better. The Russian assault in it looked good, but that's about it.

As far as I know in the US the date is specified by month/day/year not by day/month/year so this should be the problem ... for us the date is 12(day)/09(month)/2008(year) and for the US the release date is 09(month)/12(day)/2008(year) :grandpa:
