Hello
Ive played FOW for a while now and im almost done with the last missions of both allies, axis and russians, however when i go into multiplayer or read in the forums i see that there is some missions i haevn't played yet like Louvain, THe Reichstag, the D-Day landing, City Edge, Snowy castle and Bastogne ... are those ONLY multiplayer missions? can i play them by myself?
- Thanks ye
Louvain, Reichstag, D-Day, and Bastogne are in the SP part of FoW as far as I know. If you haven't played them you can always go to MP and create a server, choose Co-op and select the mission you desire and play by yourself even if you have the NAT problem you can play by yourself on your own server but other people can't join.

if they are in SP how do i access them? i only see two envilopes with 5 missions in them, at each faction and none of them are those lvls .... and by the way when i do the MP trick (try creating my own server) it wont let me press start to play alone
You have to complete all the training levels, then the bonus missions are opened up to you.
D-Day for the Allies and Reichstag for the Russians are the bonus missions, there isn't one for the Germans.

are you remembering that you still have to click "ready" to put the little tick next to your name before you can press start?
That omaha beach map in fow didn't make any sense at all anyway...

To me it's like 'Where are the hills? how come the beach is so small?'... :realbig:

This map must have been designed from the actual maps and photos, with the obvious scaling to suit game distances. Have you seen the actual Omaha beach? it's rather narrow. Hillocks are modest in height, there are no cliffs, etc.

Bigggg difference...probably they have dig in the sand 8)
Instead of sand_castles, they have made concrete bunkers.

Well in my opinion it's still a big difference when compare to this one with the map ;)

Even though they have to scale it to fit the game but hey, I don't mind :D
wawaee, your link it's not working

Don't mind the link, it's just an example that i used it for comparison with the fow map

I sometimes go to Omaha beach and it's bigger than the FOW map! :baseball:
That's it :

And the big bunker like in the "saving private ryan" dont exist in Omaha beach! It exist where there is the big cemetery, not where troops attacked!
There are juste some PAK bunker, AA bunker and some tobruk :

According with the book D-Day, June 6, 1944: The Climactic Battle of World War II by Stephen E. Ambrose, what BestWay showed in the Omaha bonus mission is more similar to Utah or Juno beaches.
