It's even not worthing to think anymore on beta. I will wait the original game to be released. :|

The title seems to indicate the length of the actual beta, but in his post he asks how long till the beta starts.

Instinct , I don't know if you are wrong, but the question was "How long for Beta Test??", and it's interpretable.
However...I think that [A][GIO]Gabriel has refered to the time before the beta starts, cause this it's the big problem dicussed on forum from more then 3 months.
Anyway...care no more...this long, full of promises, and delayed tensioned wait it's not too healthy. :|

I don´t know, how long the procedure of the forging press department, shipment etc. will take, but isn´t the upcoming public beta a little to closely to the release date?

I can imagine that you will collect some data about the balancing and such stuff (the technical aspect requires maybe only some optimizing works). So I wonder, if the datas you will get through the beta and the feedback will be implemented as a "release patch" (a patch which is published on the date of release) or if the time suffices and the new cognitions will be implemented in the game, before the gold status is reached.

I remember Stronghold 2, we´ve got in the released version an extra cd-rom just with a patch.

We don't think there will be major bugs, but a thousand eyes may see some we don't notice and we try to fix them before the release. A big focus will be on tweaking and balancing the game rather than real bug hunting.
1 and a half month may not sound like much time, but it will be enough to fix most stuff. Things which will be noticed ~ 2 weeks before the launch will be added in a patch which will come soon after the release.
