Men of War consists out of 5 multiplayer nations and therefore we talk a bit about some new vehicles for a new nation. 5? Yes, Germany, Russia, USA, the Commonwealth and Japan.

As the Commonwealth will introduce several new vehicles and differs a lot from the american Allied, ofcourse it was also necessary to work on new anti tank guns,

such as the QF2

The Ordnance QF 2-pounder was a 40 mm British anti-tank and vehicle-mounted gun, employed in the Second World War. It was actively used in the Battle of France, and during the North Africa campaign. As tanks became sufficiently armoured to stand up to its shots, it was gradually replaced by the 6-pounder, starting in 1942, though some remained in service until the end of the war. In its vehicle-mounted variant, the 2-pounder was also a common main gun on British tanks early in World War II, and was a typical main armament of medium and heavy armoured cars throughout the war such as the MK 2 Daimler.

or the QF6

The Ordnance QF 6-pounder 7 cwt, or just 6 pdr, was a British 57 mm gun, their primary anti-tank gun during the middle of World War II, as well as the main armament for a number of armoured fighting vehicles like the Crusader 3. It was first used in North Africa in April 1942, and quickly replaced the 2 pounder in the anti-tank role, allowing the 25 pounder to revert to its intended artillery role. The United States Army also adopted the 6 pdr as their primary anti-tank gun under the designation 57mm Gun M1.

and this beautiful QF17 getting stolen by some German soldiers, which is also possible ingame...

The Ordnance QF 17-pounder was a 76.2 mm gun developed by the United Kingdom during World War II. It was used as an anti-tank gun on its own carriage, as well as equipping a number of British tanks. It was the most effective Allied anti-tank gun of the war. Used with the APDS shot it was capable of defeating all but the thickest armour on German tanks. It was used to 'up-gun' some foreign-built vehicles in British service, notably the Sherman Firefly that gave British tank units the ability to hold their own with their German counterparts.

And ofcourse some brand new screenshots!

It is very nice to see that the 17 pounder is now in game. I can feel the fear of the Tiger1 crew´s with that powerful APDS ammunitions.

:To Rommel:

Hitler: (in rage) "How could you be defeated by a mere pack of British colonial troops!"

Rommel: "These are not oridnary colonials but Australian infantry and if you could give me two battlions of them I would take over the world for you!"

True story!

SdKfz 251 : Ten innocent factory workers.
A world war : $288,000,000,000.
Driving away with your enemy's cannon: Priceless.

Haha  , hilarious.

One thing, I think on one of the older screenshots I noted that the light MG's carried by foot soldiers had a drum Magazine attached. Couldn't you do that for all the LMG 34/42 in the game, including the one on tanks ? Looks more authentic when you know that your MG42 bullet rain is coming from a proper german drum magazine rather then just out of the air. :realbig: .

Other thing about LMG's: when attached to halftracks/tanks etc. could you fold the bipod, and when you take of and it is carried by a soldier unfold it ? Always looked stupid when the bipod of an MG34 "disappeared" in the tank's turret when aiming too low...I saw that in a few Mod's btw, but can't remember which ones.

Best Regards,

Steiner

Please Guys make it so the infantry have ragdoll physics. i know this far in making the game probaly not possible. but trust me guys it adds alot of replay value cause it makes it funny when you kill them and just makes it feel more real..........but like i said be fore probaly not possible at this stage of making the game.

But props to how good the game looks and keep up the good work :toast:

Hurry up DMS!

Am I going to be able to add my MODs so that they are not stealing the space of some official missions (like tutorials)? Wrong topic I guess...

Looks great anyways!

You can already do that in FoW..

It's more simple in Men of War to add new missions to the list because if you make a folder and files, they automaticly show up in the corrisponding folders and have a side bar if the list gets too long like on webpages afaik.

Mostly they will consist of British troops, but we want to open us more possibilities.
