FOW requirements

I just got faces of war and I'm wondering what kind of computer would you recommend to run this game at its best like Hp, dell, gateway, ect. :typing:

I just really want to know everyones opinion cause I'm getting a new computer and I don't know what to get. :|

Dunno about those factory PC's :oops: but..

My old specs where I was running it on highest full AA and such was using

(CPU) Processor: AMD Athlon 3700+
(GPU) Graphics Card: Geforce 7950GX2 (between 8800GTS and 8800GTX in preformance)
(RAM) Memory: 2x 1GB of DDR1 RAM

So a PC with atleast 2GB of ram and something around the 8800GTS or 9800, if you have the cash.

Faces of War is probaly one of the lesser demanding games in my opinion.. unless you've got high AA, cant rember if forced Anti-Analising x16 required much or not now..
Running it on a Geforce8400GS without any Anti-Analising with 1680x1050 resolution, resonable fps of 20+ and all other settings max'd. It's the Anti-Analising & Resolution that does demand imo.

But hopefully you understood what I was rambling on there about and that it did someway help. :lol:
Geuss someone els will know something about factory PC's tho.

Right now I play FOW on a laptop and it runs great with the setting on medium but Im getting kinda tired of my laptop and planing on getting a desktop but I don't know what kind to get. :|

HP laptop
Processors: AMD turrion64 (2.1GHz)mobile
RAM: 1mb
Graphics card: GeForce 6150 250mb
OS: Windows XP service pack 2

Depends on how much you are willing to spend. My pc has simmilar characteristics as your laptop, and beta worked on everything maxed + 4x AA. With around 30 fps. :)

8800GT 512mb
Win Xp
and FoW syill lags. Latest patch is installed, is there more optimizing fixes out ? Or any tips how to increase performance ?
