[MoW] Multiplayer Map "Alps" as Mod

hi2all,

now i've finished my first map as a standalone mod. i named it "Alps". like my homeland. :realbig:
... it was much work about 2 months and i think map is playable.

this map works with "Faces of War" and "Outfront A1" and "Man of War".

following games are avaiable:
- Battlezone (FOW & Outfront)
- Combat (FOW & Outfront)
- Combat FFA (FOW & Outfront)
- Frontline ?? (FOW & Outfront)
- Capture the Flag (Outfront)
- Heavy Load (Outfront)

my background about "scripting" isn't verry good - and i think i have a small error in the "frontline" map.
when someone find this error, please let me know & post it here (also other bugs and errors).

how to install:
- decompress downloaded file
- go to your game directory and create a directory named "mods"
- copy decompressed files into "mods" directory
- after copying you must have following directories "...gamename...\mods\No_Mam_Alps_v1a\"
- start "Faces of War" or "Outfront2 A1"
- change to "options" -> "mods" -> select "no_mam_alps_v1a" and press "apply"
- now you can find the map "alps_1a" by hosting a new online- or langame.

this map contain one side effect. sometimes jumps the camera ugly up and down when y move over the mountains. but i think y can forgive me. :huh:

and dont forget, chickens are the best weapons. :lol:

Is there still a working link to this map somewhere or does anyone have a copy they could upload someplace? All I can find in NoMam's FileFront folder is a file titled Avatare that looks like it's too new to be what I want.

I cant seem to get the map too work. This is for MoW right? Outfront A1? or is it only FoW?

the map should work with FoW, Outfront2 (A1) and MoW.

id create this map with Outfront2 (A1) editor - but only tested with FoW.

Great Map, but the sky appears black in my computer. I don't know why?

this map was made with FOW + FOW-editor. possible that map contains some skysettings that arent avaiable in MoW anymore.

copy decompressed mapfiles to folder ...\Men of War\resource\map\multi\...
y must have following folderstructure: \Men of War\resource\map\multi\Alps v1a\...

1) start MoW editor (editor.exe or outfront_editor.exe)
2) press "ESC" -> klick load -> ...map\multi... Alps v1a
3) after loading press "F3" -> press "ESC" -> klick load -> select "battle_zones.mi"
4) after loading press "F6" -> select any weather files (include sky options) ... but dont change any values !!! -> apply with "OK"
5) press "ESC" -> save (or "STRG+S")

repeat step 3) - 5) with all other *.mi files in mapfolder (captureflag.mi, combat.mi...)
