Hi,
as you know after install SHoWW2 to your computer you still need to have the CD in your drive inserted during play, although the entire game is completely installed.
Now Codemasters released a Vista Patch which removes incompatibility with Vista and the copy protection software delivered with the game to be able to play SHoWW2 on Vista also. After installing the patch the CD don't need to be inserted in the drive, too.
But this Vista Patch also works with Windows XP and I'm sure with all others Windows versions SHoWW2 runs with. So if you install the patch you won't be asked for the CD to be inserted anymore.
